THE OPERATING STANDARD
How It Works
The Operating Standard is designed to make moving from an informal process to a working business system straightforward.
1. Choose the business problem
Start with the management problem you need to improve: strategy, sales, operations, project control, commercial management, people, risk, quality or performance. You can browse the complete business systems library or explore systems by management category.
2. Purchase the right system
Each product page explains the outcome, what is included, who the system is designed for, file formats and licence terms so you can evaluate the product before purchasing.
3. Download the working files
After a successful purchase, the included digital files are made available through the store's configured digital-delivery process. Products commonly include editable Microsoft Word and Excel files, with PDF resources where relevant. Read the digital delivery policy for more detail.
4. Adapt the system to your business
Replace generic examples with your own terminology, owners, thresholds, priorities, meeting cadence and operating requirements. The products are designed to be working tools rather than fixed documents.
5. Implement it in real management
Use the system in actual meetings, planning cycles, reviews, decisions and day-to-day management. Assign clear ownership and make the relevant outputs part of the normal operating rhythm.
6. Review and improve
A business system becomes more valuable when it is used consistently and refined over time. Review what works, simplify what does not and keep the system aligned with the way your business operates.
Before purchasing, review the frequently asked questions and licence and permitted-use terms.
